About me
Dan has been working at Durham Academy since 2004, Directing the Extended Day Program since 2007 and was the Director of Summer Programs for 9 years. He currently serves as a member of the schools Leadership Team and has also been a Teaching Assistant in 4th grade, a member of the school's Diversity, Equity and Engagement team, and has served on a variety of other committees. Dan is married with 3 children and enjoys gardening, reading and walks. His passion for free play stems from having lots of unscheduled time during the 80s and 90s to be bored, get creative, make up games and have fun. Working with children now it is obvious that the need for this type of time in our children's lives could not be more important!
