About me
I am Jackson Livingston, and I am the Assistant Camp Director at Chinese American International School (CAIS) in San Francisco, California. I have been at CAIS since February 2026. CAIS is a Mandarin Immersion independent school that serves students age 2-8th grade. Our summer program, Camp Firedragon, completed it's very first summer in 2026. Serving 300+different students throughout the summer, Camp Firedragon had a strong start with much of staff being CAIS alumni.
I am originally from Salt Lake City, Utah and graduated from the University of Utah with a degree in Physical Education Teaching, Minor in Health Teaching. After college I worked for Playworks-Utah for a school year before becoming an 8th grade Health Teacher in the Granite School District before moving to San Francisco in 2016. Before my time at CAIS, I spent 8 years with the YMCA of San Francisco as a Youth Program Director.
