About me
Kat Yorks is Lakeside School’s Director of Summer Programs, developing and overseeing their many summer offerings, from Upper School courses to middle school STEAM and athletics camps. She has also taught Upper School English for nearly twenty years at independent schools, including Viewpoint School in Los Angeles, Georgetown Day School in Washington, D.C., and Lakeside School. She served as Lakeside’s Upper School English Department Head from 2022-2025. Kat earned her M.A. in English Literature from University of California, Santa Barbara and her B.A. from Swarthmore College.
