About me
Michael Carmody is a Brand Identity Developer for summer camps and auxiliary programs. After earning his Doctoral Degree in Clinical Psychology in 2011, Michael made the leap into the world of summer camps, serving as the Director of Camp Experience and Community Engagement for Rally Camps (San Francisco Giants Baseball Camps and San Diego Padres Baseball Camps). Michael then served as the Director of Auxiliary Programs at Fort Worth Country Day from 2018 until 2024, overseeing a complete restructure and rebranding of FWCD’s summer camp programs. In 2024, Michael founded Make It Campy, channeling his expertise into brand identity development and consultation services for summer camps and independent schools, elevating their visual presence and operational success. Michael's brand identity expertise is informed by over a decade of specialized experience in school- and camp-focused graphic design and summer camp program development.
